Our first wedding/vacation was to Charleston, SC - and it was pure magic. This event was extra special to the S family because not only did Beth ask me to stand with her, the hubster was also officiating this glorious union. Now, I know that Brad is very comical, likes to joke around and doesn't really take too much seriously - but this was one of the greatest moments of his life. The preparation for this took weeks and he went over and over the material countless times. Now, because he's passionate about all things science, he was sporting his Periodic Table TOMS and held Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook during the ceremony. Classic Brad flare.
"It's an indescribable honor when someone asks you to perform a marriage ceremony.
This family... they're our family... and we're so lucky to have them."

After having 2 great bridal showers, Beth continued on her quest of having a unique, classy, warm, loving celebration. The details - from the koozies, to the photographers, to the flowers, and everything in-between - it was breathtaking. When you have a destination style wedding, it's tricky because the families, obviously, have to travel - but these families crushed it. The (gorgeous!) venue was close to capacity, then we got to spend the entire week afterwards together at the beach - it was great to meet the new faces & reconnect with some of my favorite ones.
